Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been a potter

I started playing with clay in my Grandmas studio in Lethbridge Alberta during the summers i spent staying with her. So a lot of my understanding about clay came from play. When i was in my forties I went through a mid life awakening and yearned for the feel and experience of clay. Quit my job joined the local pottery co-op and from there decided to go to University to study ceramic art. I began at Sheridan College of art and design, and completed my degree at Alberta College of Art and design. Ever since i have been working as a potter, developing my own styles and glazes in my studio in sooke bc. So long story short about 30 years of practice. .
